Still Chuggin'Along!

 

I'm still kickin' and painting like crazy!  It has been a long time since I posted anything and I thought I would just close this down and walk away.  This past year and a half I have built and painted quite a lot but hit a bit of a gaming funk.  My family and I have moved and I've started a new job.  Lots of changes lately and with it all I'm hoping to get the Blog back up and running.

So with the new place comes a new gaming group.  Thankfully with the interweb being what it is, getting into contact with other gamers is easier than ever.  After my third week in the new city I was registered and playing in a tournament.  Capital City Blood Bath!  It was a 2 day, 6 game, 1850pt 40k tournament that was a hell of a lot of fun.  The people were great and the games were fun.  Even if I rolled like crap and got my butt kicked in most games.  I played a Dark Angel army using a mix of Ravenwing and Deathwing, a Flesh Tearers/Sisters of Battle/Space Wolves army, 2 Daemon Armies, a Tau army and a Dark Eldar army.  I ended up going 2 - 3 - 1.  My wins were against the Space Marine mix army and the Dark Eldar army and I was able to tie the Tau on the primary.  Sadly I did not take enough pictures.

It was a great two days and I've now met a few people in the area that play.  Looking forward to gaming a lot more in the future.
